integrative psychotherapy.

Therapy is a space to slow down, become curious about your experience, and begin understanding yourself with greater compassion.

This is not another hour of talking about your week.
Not a checklist of symptoms and a treatment plan that doesn't quite fit.
It is something that actually reaches the places that haven't healed yet.

where Your journey Begins.

I believe symptoms are not problems to eliminate—they are messages inviting our attention.

Anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, and shutting down often began as ways your mind and body learned to adapt.

Rather than asking,

"What's wrong with me?"

We begin asking,

"What happened that taught me to respond this way?"

That question changes everything. And then we can ask…

“How do I want to respond differently moving forward?”

ifs: internal family systems

IFS is at the foundation of my work. It is an evidence-informed therapy that recognizes we all have different parts of ourselves, perhaps a part that worries, a part that strives for perfection, a part that avoids conflict, or a part that carries old pain. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate these parts, IFS helps us understand their purpose with curiosity and compassion.

IFS also provides a beautiful opportunity to explore cultural, legacy, and/or ancestral conditioning.

EMDR: EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION AND REPROCESSING

EMDR is a research-supported psychotherapy that helps the brain process experiences that have become "stuck." As distressing memories are reprocessed, they often lose their emotional intensity, allowing you to respond to the present with greater calm, clarity, and freedom rather than reacting from the past.

EMDR is widely recognized as one of the most effective treatments for trauma and PTSD, and it is also used to address anxiety, phobias, grief, and other distressing life experiences.

Becky’s advanced training in EMDR includes attachment, trauma, dissociation, and integrative team treatment for attachment trauma in family therapy.

EMDR can be an effective treatment both in person and virtually with access to tools online and careful guidance from Becky.

IFS is the foundation. But depending on what you're carrying and what your system needs, we may also draw on:

EMDR — for trauma that lives in the body and hasn't responded to talk therapy alone

Somatic awareness — noticing where your experience lives physically, and working with it from there

Polyvagal-informed approaches — understanding your nervous system so you can work with it instead of against it

NLP and Ericksonian hypnotherapy — for shifting patterns that have felt stuck

TF-CBT— designed to help adolescents and their caregivers overcome the emotional and behavioral impact of trauma

Spiritual integration — for those whose healing is inseparable from their sense of meaning, purpose, and something larger than themselves

Sandtray —I incorporate sandtray tools as a creative, non-verbal way to externalize inner experience. Some clients find this complimentary tool opens things that words alone cannot reach

You don't need to know what any of this means before we begin. That's my job.

Spiritually Integrated Therapy

A calm mountain lake reflecting the surrounding forested mountains and clear blue sky.

I hold a spiritually integrated approach to therapy. That means I don't set aside the spiritual dimension of your experience. I make room for it.

That might look like exploring the beliefs you inherited and deciding which ones still belong to you. It might look like sitting with grief over a faith you've lost, or a God you're no longer sure about. It might look like noticing what your ancestors passed down — not just genetically, but energetically — and asking what you're ready to release.

I work with women across the full spectrum of spiritual experience — those rebuilding after religious deconstruction, those deepening an existing practice, those who don't have language for what they feel but know something sacred is present in their lives.

You don't need to arrive with a belief system. You just need to be willing to be curious.

This is not religious therapy. It is not secular therapy either. It is therapy that honors the whole of you — including the part that reaches toward something larger than what any diagnosis could name.

therapy can be rigorous, ethical, evidence-informed, and still make space for the aspects of being human that can't always be measured.

You don't have to choose between science and spirituality here.
